Founded in 1960, Villa Maria College is an independent, two-year, coeducational institution that provides quality education in the Catholic and Franciscan tradition. Recognizing the dignity and potential of all, Villa Maria College offers a personalized, post-secondary education leading to Associate Degrees and certificates in career-directed programs of study. All degree programs function within a framework of the arts and sciences with opportunities for field experience internships. Classes are held in the main building as well as areas of the Music Institute and Library. Recitals, lectures, and social and community activities take place in 1,400-seat auditorium and adjacent social hall.
Villa Maria College is located at 240 Pine Ridge Road in Cheektowaga, New York, a suburb of Buffalo. The college is easily accessible via mass transit and local expressways with plenty of free parking available for all students. On the Niagara River at the gateway to Canada, Buffalo is home to many year-round cultural, social, and educational attractions. The international destination of Niagara Falls is approximately 30 minutes from Buffalo and the city of Toronto, Ontario is 90 minutes north of Buffalo. |

Villa Maria College offers career-directed degree programs in the arts, sciences, and technology. Current areas of study include Business, Computer Management, Early Childhood Education, Education Studies, Graphic Design, Health Sciences, Hospitality Management, Interior Design, Jazz, Liberal Arts, Music, Music Business, Photography and Physical Therapist Assistant. Villa Maria College was the first institution in the Buffalo area to establish a cooperative education/internship program and continues to place its students in beneficial hands-on opportunities that give students real-world experience. Many Villa programs are accredited by national agencies including Interior Design (Foundation for Interior Design Education and Research – FIDER) and Physical Therapist Assistant (candidacy for accreditation by the American Physical Therapy Association). |
