XAP Partners with Alloy Education to Enhance Recruit Me™ Feature on The National Application Center

CULVER CITY, CA – March 15, 2011

XAP Corporation, the leading provider of online career and college readiness tools, announced a new partnership with Alloy Education that will enable the nearly two million student users of the National Application Center (www.nationalappcenter.com) to connect with  hundreds of additional colleges and universities via the site’s “Recruit Me” feature.  The “Recruit Me” feature is already used by thousands of colleges and universities to connect with the students at the National Application Center.

“This agreement is a big win for our student users and XAP,” said J. Michael Thompson, XAP’s CEO.  “It allows us to expand the National Application Center’s role as the online college planning companion for the student, their families and college counselor by expanding the horizon of possibilities for our users.   This can have a dramatic impact on the student, especially when they hear back from an institution that they might not have thought was a realistic option for them,” added Thompson.

“The winners in this partnership are the millions of students who use the XAP and Alloy Education websites,” said Joe Moore, President and CEO of Alloy Education. “Providing access to XAP’s National Application Center on the Alloy Education websites will make it easy for students to directly apply to their list of colleges.  This is just one more step in our initiative to provide a comprehensive suite of educational tools to students, parents, and college counselors.”

The National Application Center provides a comprehensive, unbiased approach to college planning that incorporates student interests, career goals, test preparation, college matching, and financial aid. It culminates in a streamlined application submission process that eliminates the repetitive aspect of college applications, a factor often cited as the key reason students abandon the process.
